Yoonmee Han

Yoonmee has finished her MA in Critical Disability Studies at York University. Her MRP interrogated ableist and pathologizing views dominantly present in legal discourse focusing on the case Thompson and Empowerment Council v. Ontario (2013) and Mental Health Act. Yoonmee is involved in disability advocacy organizations such as Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians (AEBC) and worked as an advocate for people who are unhoused and are often psychiatrized.
